Jim directs Stromsland and De Young’s day to day operations.  Over the course of his 29-year career, of which 25 years have been with this firm.  He has been involved from start to finish on each one of his projects which has always been one of Stromsland and De Young strongest assets and benefits to each and every client.  His service and professional approach is top priority which makes for long relationships with many clients. He is detail oriented and has a well rounded balance between design, structure, construction and fiscal responsibility.  Jim has lead the way in the planning and design of a wide variety of building solutions including healthcare, religious, municipal, corporate and residential clients.  On the construction side of the profession, Jim has again been a leader in conveying the client’s needs through document interpretation and coordination with contractors.
