IBEW Local 176 Headquarters - SDPA Group

The site for this Headquarters Building is located on Interstate 55 in Joliet, Illinois.  The 26,000 square foot building includes the executive offices and meeting hall of IBEW Local 176.   In addition to a meeting hall for over 400 members, the space is used for other large gatherings for other organizations and groups including receptions and dinners.  A full service kitchen is part of the project.

The exterior design utilizes architectural precast walls with metal accent roof elements which blend with the aluminum and glass window and entry designs.  The materials were selected to provide a unique identity for the fast moving traffic of the interstate highway.  The sloped metal roof elements will provide for future solar panels to assist with the electrical load.
