The original theater and bandshell complex was designed by our firm in the early 1970’s as part of Will County and Joliet’s celebration of our country’s 200th birthday.  After Will – Joliet Bicentennial Park, Inc. was able to raise more funds, our firm was again commissioned for an addition to the original structure.  

The north addition doubles the size of the storage and set building area. Also doubled is the "green room" which is used by entertainment groups as a holding area, for business and club meetings and for drama classes.  The south addition added much needed office space, a permanent concession area and increased and beautified the lobby and entrance.   A display of an original Will County Courthouse frieze and reuse of original Buff Street brick pavers was integrated into the lobby design.
